WHICH REQUIREMENTS AND PRIOR KNOWLEDGE DO I NEED FOR PARTICIPATING IN A TRAINING COURSE?
The training descriptions contain the prerequisites for the participation in the training (e.g. completion of basic training or eLearning courses). Some of this knowledge can also be obtained through practical workplace experience. A grasp of technical concepts is usually sufficient to attend basic training courses in IT, and entry-level management experience is enough for the Front Line Leader courses.
IN WHICH LANGUAGE ARE THE TRAINING COURSES HELD?
The language in which the respective training course is offered is specified in the training description under “Language”. If you are interested in training in a language that is not listed in our catalogue, then please contact us.
WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS FOR THE TRAINING COURSES?
The maximum number of participants for practical training sessions varies by course title. The minimum and maximum number are listed in the course descriptions for each class. In many cases, in order to ensure successful learning, working takes place in small groups, and most courses break into smaller groups for the breakout sessions. For theoretical training courses, the maximum number of participants is often limited to the number of seats in the training rooms.
WHAT DO I HAVE TO BRING FOR THE TRAINING?
Please bring your laptop or notepad and pen depending on which method you find most effective for taking notes. In the training description, you can see from the icons in the top left corner whether your training has any pre-work which should be completed before the class begins.
ARE FOOD AND DRINKS PROVIDED DURING THE TRAINING?
During the training, the drinks, snacks and lunch are the responsibility of your employer. Check with your training or learning and development manager to find out specific information for the Power to Learn course you will be taking.
MUST I ATTEND THE TRAINING COURSES IN THE SPECIFIED ORDER?
We recommend attending the training courses in the specified order. For the correct sequence, please refer to the prerequisites, if any, that are listed for your course.
HOW DO I KNOW AT WHICH DATE A TRAINING COURSE IS HELD?
The training dates will be provided by your training or learning and development manager. If the dates are postponed either the manager or your Power to Learn Account Coordinator will notify of the change.
ARE ALL TRAINING COURSES HELD THAT ARE scheduled with Power to Learn?
The decision as to whether the training is to be held or not is made no later than three weeks prior to the start of the training (minimum number of participants). If the training is cancelled, registered participants will be notified by email. The training course will be rescheduled, if possible.
Our training sessions are offered at your employer’s premises or a location of their choosing for the Leadership group training. Virtual Instructor led training (VILT), online training and self-directed training will be taken on your computer (laptop, desktop), iPad or phone.
WHERE DO I GET THE DIRECTIONS FOR THE TRAINING LOCATIONS?
Either your training manager or learning and development manager or the Power to Learn Account Coordinator will notify you of the training location, start and end dates and daily hours that each class is scheduled for.

You will receive confirmation of your course registration by email. Your registration is only complete with this written confirmation.
WHY DO I RECEIVE INFORMATION about Power to Learn IN MY REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION?
This personal login is used for logging on to the p2linc.com website where you will have access to training course information, as well as other career development tools. In order to be able to use this, the participant’s personal e-mail address has to be specified. If you did not specify an e-mail address, we ask you to submit it after registering.
HOW CAN I CANCEL A TRAINING COURSE?

WILL TRAINING DOCUMENTS BE PROVIDED?
Appropriate training documents will be provided for all training courses. For face-to-face training courses, which are marked as Instructor led Training or ILT, the training documents will be provided in electronic format. These materials are included in the training fee and are sent directly to the participants. These may be used during the training course. For all other training courses, printed training documents will be provided by your employer should they choose to provide paper documents.
DO I GET A CERTIFICATE AFTER PARTICIPATION IN THE TRAINING?
Some courses have the option of purchasing a certificate voucher. The information regarding certificate and exam vouchers is available on the website. For private on site, and custom courses, contact your training manager or learning and development manager to see what will be provided at the end of your course.
HOW MUCH DOES A TRAINING COURSE COST?
For the training fee, please refer to the training description for each course in course description on this website. The training fee comprises extensive training documents and any related auxiliary material. We will send the invoice to your company upon competition of an on-site or custom course, and once a course has been delivered to you for the e-learning courses. Please inform us of a different invoice address when ordering a training course. In many cases a manager’s approval and/or cost centre number is required in order to enrol you in a training course.
