About Red Hat OpenShift, Containers, and Kubernetes

Containers are elements that allow applications to be deployed easily and consistently. They help developers increase their productivity as they virtualize the operating system allowing developers to focus more on providing new functionality for users.

Kubernetes often referred to as “k8s” or “k-eights” is an open-source software application that controls the functioning of containers. It provides you with a framework to run and deploy systems more efficiently.  In case, a container is experiencing very high traffic, Kubernetes can move some of the weight to another container and balance the traffic so that the deployment can happen smoothly.

P2L has partnered up with Red Hat to create this thorough course for those working in the IT sector.
